Wally ChernochChief Executive Officer
Wally has been a businessman and pilot for over 35 years. While serving as a Captain on the 737, 757, and 767 for American Airlines, he founded an administrative company responsible for the management of multiple companies from 2009-present. Including a commercial real estate company, a design and drafting company, and an event company that produced and promoted hundreds of large arena events in Florida, before becoming the CEO of Palm Team Capital. Wally received a BFA degree from the State University of New York at Purchase and resides with his wife of 42 years in Naples, Florida.
Wally co-founded Palm Team Capital to provide the service and performance that his family and friends were not receiving. He believes that strict risk management must be the backbone of any investment methodology and process. His primary focus is on client experience and service. Transparent monthly statements, newsletters, and educational support give clients an understanding of Palm Team strategies and methodology. As CEO, Wally also encourages the pursuit of philanthropic goals. |

Ethan VoChief Investment Officer
Ethan is an active angel investor in syndicate funds and ed-tech startups in Silicon Valley, as well as a professional investor and options trader. He possesses 17 years of global experience in Asian and American investment and engineering markets. Ethan managed a construction firm with over 500 employees for 4 years and co-owned and operated an infrastructure engineering firm and an architectural design firm for 12 years. He earned a BA in Civil Engineering from the University of Polytechnics, an MS in Public Policy from Harvard University, and the University of Economics. Ethan also holds a Certificate in Operations Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and a Certificate in Project & Program Management from the University of California.
As CIO, Ethan is responsible for managing the investment team and overseeing the use of Palm Team Capital’s investment strategies. He works closely with the CTO for execution and is assisted by the CFO. Ethan leads the Research and Development team to enhance, improve, and develop our proprietary Alpha6 Strategies. He also explores and tests new investment opportunities. |

Zach ChernochChief Financial Officer
Zach has extensive experience managing finances, taxes, and developing business strategies based on quantitative financial models. He has been running a successful sports event company based in Naples, Florida, since 2010. Zach has developed and implemented marketing strategies that have helped his company grow continuously since then. In 2018, he became a professional investor and options trader. Zach earned a BS degree in Business Management with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2009. In his free time, he plays the drums in a praise team band at church. He lives in Naples, Florida, with his wife and three sons.
As CFO, Zach is responsible for the financial management and administration of Palm Team Capital and all associated entities. Zach's other duties and responsibilities include developing and managing all company events, collaborating with our CIO to enhance our investor relations and experience, assisting the investment team, and conducting R&D for future PTC products and verticals. |

Jason RetzChief Investment Strategist - Director of Research
Jason has worked on government contracts for various U.S. defense agencies within the photonics industry in Dublin, Ohio, since 2014. He has also been involved in corporate cybersecurity initiatives. Jason was part of the High Energy Density Physics department at Ohio State University, where he contributed to the Scarlet Laser project. Throughout his career, Jason has become a professional investor and options trader. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Physics from Ohio State University in 2011.
Jason utilizes his strong mathematical background, programming skills, and analytical problem-solving abilities daily. He is in charge of managing and operating Palm Team Capital’s technology stack, which he developed in collaboration with the CIO. Additionally, he oversees day-to-day investment management. Jason has a talent for technical writing, producing our Monthly Market Insights. |
